I've been DJ'ing even since i was 14 years old. I was a 90's kid, so old-school hip-hop and soul music from 50's to the 90's was my initial audible saturation. Eventually, i got my hands on a pair of Vestax PDX's and thats when my journey as a DJ started. Flash forward a few years, i was DJ'ing in local clubs and parties. I've always stuck to vinyl because nothing sounds as genuine and hearty as drop the beat and sliding your hands across the record to scratch. Mmmmm..Sorry, i had a beat-gasm. lol!! Anyways, now i created my music via Le Ans Dell OptiPlex GX110 using several programs like Fruity Loops, Reason, Cakewalk, AC!D, LSDJ (for my 8-bit tracks), and etc. If you watch "Here's Ogenki desu ka!" on our website (www.i-studios.org) you'll listen 8-bit chiptune tracks which are the the opening and ending themes. Yup, i made those. With help of course of my lil' lovely friend, Mr. Gameboy Color. Facebook me (with the addresss below) or email me at mr.b3t4m4x@gmail.com
Yo ho ho! I am Nappy, also known as... NewAgePirate, NewAge, NAP, or Nappy. My background is more so in the digital arts, and I'm currently pursuing that as a carrer. Looking to go into a good school for it. Anyways, though I do not have a background in making music and such, like the almighty Ikarus, I do know a lot about the Japanese/Asian music scene. I am also a raver, so I know the techno scene a bit too, which I will also cover in my time hear on the TastyBeatz blog. So yeah, if theres anything else you want to know about meh, just give me an email at sean.or.kael@gmail.com
